Before logging onto the ExponentHR website for the first time, each user must first establish their login credentials. As time passes, it may be desired/necessary to update your User ID, Password, and/or Security Questions/Answer. Any of these may be updated at any time through the Change Password / Security Settings page.
When logging from an unrecognized device or when updating your login credentials, a second layer of authentication will be prompted. This is completed by entering a One-Time Passcode (OTP) that is delivered to you via the selected email address or mobile phone number from your personal record. If desired, alternate contact information may be entered in the Change Security Validation Delivery Options section. Contact information in this section is solely used to assist in identifying you and remains only visible/editable by you. This information is not stored on your personal record and is not shared with your employer.
You have suspicions your login information to ExponentHR has been compromised. Even though ExponentHR does not force you to change your login information, you may change it at any time through the Change Login Process. |
To change your login credentials and/or update your security contact information:
1. On the Menu, click My Info > Change My Information > Change Password / Security SettingsMy Info > Change My Information > Change Password / Security Settings.
The Change Password / Security SettingsChange Password / Security Settings page displays.
2. Make the desired login credential changes:
1. In the Change User ID section, enter your desired new username in the New User ID field.
2. In the Re-Enter New User ID field, re-enter your new username entry to confirm the new username was entered as intended.
Note: Your User ID must meet your company's User ID requirements.
1. In the Change Login Password section, enter the new password in the New Password field.
2. In the Re-Enter New Password field, re-enter the new password entry to confirm that the new password was entered as intended.
Note:
Your password must meet your company's password requirements.
To change your Security Question/AnswerTo change your Security Question/Answer
1. In the Change Security Question/Answer section, select one of the available options in the Security Question drop-down list.
Note: If desired, you may alternatively type in your own unique security question.
2. Type in the answer to the security question in the Security Answer field.
Note: Please make sure the security answer is typed with the intended capitalizaton, spelling, and spacing, so that it may be remembered accurately on any future authentication prompts.
1. In the Change Security Validation Delivery Options section, enter the alternate email addresses and/or mobile phone number that you would like to have as an option when being prompted to receive a One-Time Passcode for site authentication.

3. Click the Submit button.
4. Type in your existing Password in the provided field to authorize the requested changes.
If you are unable to recall your current User ID and/or your current Password, return to the Login screen and select the Forgot User ID / PasswordForgot User ID / Password link.
